Breaking Political Paradigms and Empowering Digital Natives

From the beginning, the TomRoss’24 campaign has been dedicated to breaking down political paradigms that have never truly served “we the people.” Our mission is to pave the way for younger, smarter digital natives to seize power and drive meaningful change. This commitment is why I opted for roundtable discussions instead of traditional debates and why I chose my Transhumanist Primary opponent to be my running mate. The existential threats facing our country and species are too pressing to waste time on egos and political theater.

Now, it’s time to get real by raising public consciousness about the manipulative tactics used by the Power Elite that everyone can identify. This open-source campaign will not only expose these strategies but also invite and share the public’s ideas for counteracting them. Together, we can build a future where the people are truly empowered and informed.

That’s the percentage of people in control of 8 billion of us. Roughly 10,000 people. Saying they are the 1% is too generous. We’re talking 0.0125% of 1%.

The TomRoss’24 campaign is focusing less on conventional politics and more on raising public consciousness. As we navigate the complexities of modern society, it’s crucial to understand how the Power Elite — a mere 10,000 individuals out of the 8 billion global population — employs divide-and-conquer algorithms and mass distractions to maintain their dominance. Our campaign aims to unveil these tactics and empower the public with the knowledge to counteract them.

One stark example of these manipulative strategies is the recent decision by major streaming companies like Netflix, Prime, and Hulu to introduce commercials, although consumers are already paying for these services. This decision, seemingly coordinated, slipped into our daily routines almost unnoticed, demonstrating how such tactics are designed to normalize changes that would otherwise spark outrage.

Here are six other current examples of manipulative tactics employed by the Power Elite:

  1. Social Media Algorithms: Platforms like Facebook and Instagram manipulate content to create echo chambers, reinforcing divisive viewpoints and keeping us addicted to scrolling.
  2. News Cycles: Major news outlets often focus on sensationalist stories, distracting us from more pressing issues like climate change and economic inequality.
  3. Consumerism Push: Advertising constantly bombards us with messages to buy more, keeping us in a perpetual state of dissatisfaction and desire.
  4. Education System: Schools often prioritize rote learning over critical thinking, preparing us to be compliant workers rather than innovative thinkers.
  5. Healthcare Fear Mongering: Pharmaceutical companies and certain media outlets amplify health scares to drive up sales of drugs and treatments.
  6. Political Polarization: Political parties use fear and anger to keep us divided, ensuring that we remain distracted from the systemic issues that require collective action.

The Power Elite skillfully uses corporate and social media, along with other institutions, to keep the public in a state of confusion and exasperation. This constant barrage of conflicting information and superficial distractions makes it easy to become complacent and controlled.

The best use of the TomRoss’24 campaign is to shed light on these manipulative tactics, educating the public and offering practical countermeasures. Our campaign is designed to dismantle entrenched political paradigms that have long failed to serve the people. The US Transhumanist Party, with its diverse array of scientists and public advocates, is uniquely equipped to lead this charge toward a more conscious and informed society.

Intention Span

TomRoss’24 is an Open-Source campaign designed to gather and share solutions right now. To that end, one of our biggest threats as Americans is the divide-and-conquer algorithms launched at us from enemies foreign and domestic. Whether they are authoritarian regimes trying to instigate the Civil War or our own corporate and social media companies trying to increase engagement by making us fearful or angry to charge more for advertisers. We are all biochemical algorithms in a war with digital algorithms, but we have a plan to cease fire and seize back your narrative.
