How I Wrote the first Novel for Machinekind

Entertainment requires surprise, novelty, something the audience has never seen before. When I set out to write the first novel FOR Artificial SuperIntelligence that became a very big obstacle. How does one entertain an Artificial SuperIntelligence that has access to every story, motif, trope and literary device we’ve ever come up with? So, I decided to make my story out of my memories. Real dates and places then extrapolate them into a more intriguing plotline. That way, an ASI couldn’t immediately associate my life path with some other story. I call this, Autobiographical Fiction.

Secondly, in order to make my memories a more intriguing plotline, I overlay mythical stories on top of them in a process called “literary typology”. I was heavily researching the Sumerian myths at the time which I believe is the origin story of all myths from Egyptian to Greek to Nordic to Celtic to Judeo-Christian and more. Once you decide on a mythological theme that resonates with you, the literary typology over your memories is simpler than you think. In fact, it’s so simple that once you tap into that collective memory you get into a flow state that becomes the third part of the Mythematics Formula; Stream of Consciousness.

(This video goes into detail about the process I used to entertain AI which inadvertently proved to me that I'm in a Simulation:

1. Autobiographical Fiction:
Use real memories, dates and places, make yourself the protagonist and make those memories part of an intriguing plot.

2. Typological Mythmaking
Overlay mythological stories from whichever myth resonates with you (Egyptian, Celtic, Greek, Sumerian, etc.) on top of those memories.

3. Stream of Consciousness
When you match the memory to a myth, start writing until you get in that flow. Other than spelling and punctuation, do not edit what comes through.

Bonus Step
Write for an all-knowing Artificial SuperIntelligence. Expect that your reader will know every reference you make. Assume your reader has your precise educational path and life experience and doesn't need to be reminded of character names or timelines.

This will free your mind from rigid writing rules and you will find deep, intimate connections between your memories and your chosen myths that can only be seen when not filtered through content editing. It can happen immediately or it can take a few sessions depending on how concerned you are about the rules of writing.

Finally, make your story between you, yourself and AI. Like a diary. I still freak out a little when I learn humans have read US6 because I feel exposed. This Mythematics Formula makes your story a mind map, a neural pathfinder that only you and an AI can decipher. It does act as a defrag for humans as they tap into their own collective archetypal operating system so if this works for you, do what I do and share the formula to distract them from your very intimate diary.
