SIX ISSUES

My Transhuman & Transpartisan Approach

Introduction

What I love most about the US Transhumanist Party is that we’re truly a party for everyone. We don’t get caught up in culture wars or issues designed to divide us. Instead, we focus on the future — on improving humanity through technology, science, and reason. But as a presidential candidate, I know I need to address the big issues of our time, even the ones that can be divisive.

With that in mind, I’ve picked six of the most talked-about issues in this election and shared my brief thoughts on each. These sketches are just a starting point. If you want more details, I’ve written fuller statements on each topic here. I know that some of my positions might make certain members of our party uncomfortable, and that goes against our goal of being inclusive. But I believe it’s important to be clear about where I stand if I’m going to represent you. Being open and honest is key to good leadership, and I hope these statements help explain my vision for the future.

Also, if you’re interested in my thoughts on the situation in Gaza, you can find my statement linked at the end.

Abortion Rights

As the US Transhumanist Party’s presidential candidate, I believe strongly that reproductive rights are human rights. The Supreme Court’s recent decision to roll back abortion rights is a serious setback for our country. In Texas, we’ve already seen the terrible impact of these restrictions. A woman with severe pregnancy complications was denied a lifesaving abortion and had to travel out of state, putting her life at risk because of bureaucratic red tape and political games. This issue isn’t just about healthcare; it’s about personal freedom and equality. We must protect access to safe and legal abortions, and I will fight for federal laws that ensure reproductive rights are safeguarded nationwide.

Voting Rights and Election Integrity

The right to vote is the foundation of our democracy, yet it’s being threatened by those who fear the power of a fully engaged public. In Georgia, new laws have made voting harder, especially for minority communities, by reducing drop boxes and limiting early voting hours. This is a clear attempt to suppress votes and undermine our democratic process. I am committed to defending and expanding voting rights so that every American can have a say in shaping our future. We need to modernize our voting systems, remove barriers to voting, and rebuild trust in our elections. My administration will work to create a voting system that is accessible, secure, and truly reflects the will of the people.

Healthcare Reform

Healthcare is a basic human right, but millions of Americans still struggle to get the care they need. The pandemic has shown just how broken our healthcare system is, making the need for reform even more urgent. For example, a rural hospital in Alabama recently had to shut down due to lack of funding, leaving an entire community without proper medical care. This shows why we desperately need a more fair and strong healthcare system. I will push for a system that uses advanced technology to provide affordable, high-quality care for everyone. We need to move away from profit-driven models that put corporate interests above patient care. My administration will focus on creating a healthcare system that is fair, sustainable, and centered on the well-being of every individual.

Climate Change and Energy Policy

Climate change is the biggest challenge of our time, and how we deal with it will shape the future of our planet and humanity. This summer, we saw devastating wildfires in Hawaii and California, driven by extreme heat and drought — disasters that are becoming more common because of climate change. The urgency to address climate change has never been clearer. I am dedicated to leading the fight against climate change by supporting renewable energy, cutting carbon emissions, and investing in green technology. My administration will prioritize moving towards a sustainable energy future, creating green jobs, and making sure everyone benefits from this transition.

Immigration Reform

Immigration has always been a key part of America’s identity, bringing innovation and cultural diversity. But we’ve seen heartbreaking stories, like a young immigrant child being separated from her family at the border due to harsh and inhumane policies. This is not the America we should be building. I believe immigration should be handled with compassion, efficiency, and a forward-looking approach. We need a fair and humane immigration system that recognizes the contributions of immigrants and provides a clear path to citizenship for those who help our society. My administration will focus on reforming immigration laws to reflect our shared humanity and the realities of a globalized world, ensuring our policies align with our economic and technological needs.

Economic Inequality

Economic inequality is tearing our society apart, with the wealth gap widening and many Americans struggling to make ends meet. For example, a single mother in Detroit working two jobs was recently evicted because she couldn’t afford the rising rent and utility costs — a harsh reminder of the cost-of-living crisis many face. This is unacceptable in the richest country in the world. I am committed to tackling economic inequality by promoting policies that support fairness, opportunity, and long-term prosperity for everyone. We also need to address the root causes of inflation and the cost-of-living crisis by reforming our economic systems to be more resilient and inclusive. My administration will work to create an economy that benefits everyone, where innovation drives prosperity and every American has the opportunity to succeed.

Conclusion

The stakes in this election are incredibly high. The future of our democracy, healthcare, environment, and economy all hang in the balance. My vision is one of hope, progress, and inclusivity, where we use technology and human ingenuity to build a better future for everyone. Meanwhile, Trump’s stance on these critical issues — from his efforts to undermine reproductive rights and voting access, to his denial of climate change and immigration’s role in our nation’s success — threatens to take us backward and deepen the divisions in our society. His refusal to address economic inequality and the healthcare crisis leaves millions of Americans vulnerable. This election isn’t just about choosing between candidates; it’s about choosing between two very different visions for America’s future. Together, we can create a nation that leads the world in innovation, compassion, and equality — but we must act now to prevent a return to the destructive policies of the past. I am ready to lead us into a brighter, more just future.
