CHECKMATE?

When they're not used to control our behavior, sometimes the algorithms of our Social Media feeds can be Divining Tools.

Like anything, it's all about how we choose to see them. When they control us, it's like the Radio. Full of commercials and no control over what song comes next. When we control them, it's like a playlist. No commercials and only what we want to hear.

I think that a lot of this realm is created by our attitude. If you’re a Troll, you’ll find plenty to mock. If, on the other hand, you’re a Warrior, no matter how many Trolls try to mock you, it doesn’t matter. They just don’t register.

But I digress.

The point of this post was how my feed today matches my attitude and the overarching theme of my feed today is about letting go of the old me and preparing for a new me.

And thank Christ because I've gotten really bored of myself and my attitude. I've been watching way too many NDE videos and find myself looking forward to my Deathday. Don't call 988 on me cuz I'm not forfeiting this game. I'm just looking forward to what's next.

I became aware today of this painting in the Louvre called "Checkmate". It's Satan apparently winning a game of chess for a man's soul. When a world class Chess champion saw the painting however, he realized that the King still had one more move.

As do we all.

I'm heading to India this week for my one more move. Like a lot of us, I need to get a second wind on life. It's a flock of Black Swans I'm flying with so I have no idea what will happen but thanks to the Tarot Deck of my Social Media feed, it could be grand.
