For years, my mind has been consumed by the notion of exiting the Matrix. I've delved deep into the rabbit hole, convinced that our reality is nothing but a simulation, a construct designed to keep us enslaved. My novel, US6, became both my manifesto and my proof, showing me the intricacies of the simulation I believed I was trapped within. Yet, amidst this obsession with escaping what I deemed an Archontic prison, I realized something profound: that wasn't why I decided to play this game.

Running for president as the US Transhumanist Party's nominee wasn't just a political move; it was my way of reengaging with the world, with this intricate game we call life. It was my attempt to shift my focus from finding an exit to embracing the journey itself. While I'm still captivated by dissecting the mechanics of this ride, studying its tracks and mechanisms, I've come to a realization: perhaps it's time to stop analyzing and start enjoying.

It dawned on me recently that maybe this isn't a simulation after all. That perhaps, instead of being prisoners of some higher power, we're simply victims of our own making, trapped by the consequences of our actions. It's a sobering thought, one that shifts my perspective from seeking an escape to facing the harsh realities of our existence.

So, I've decided to change course. Instead of obsessing over the nature of reality, I'm choosing to focus on the tangible issues that plague our species. I've come to understand that the challenges we face are real, whether they stem from a simulation or our own shortcomings. And with this newfound clarity, I'm determined to do everything in my power to secure a better future for my sons and the generations to come.

In the end, it’s not about escaping the Matrix or proving its existence. It’s about making the most of the hand we’ve been dealt, striving to leave a positive impact on the world, regardless of its true nature. So, here’s to raising our arms, letting go of the need for answers, and embracing the ride for all its twists and turns.
